Chicks Dig Beer

At a beer festival in 2007, in a moment of drunken clarity, a girlfriend and I decided that there needed to be a forum for women who like beer (and I don't mean light or fruity ones!). We immediately came up with a name: chicksdigbeer.com, and my husband bought me the domain for my birthday. The rest is... history?

Too many beer festivals!

Wait, no, there can never be too many...

But I just read about one happening TODAY in Indianapolis! I'm hoping my friends there will go and write up a report!

The Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Festival is February 28, but it's over near Grand Rapids, a bit of a hike for us, especially if the weather is crappy. Oh well.

Any others of note?

    It was a great time. The best beer that I had was 3 Floyd's Bird of Prey.

    We will be back for their Summer Festival and I hope to see even more Michiganders there for that one.
