Motor City Brewing Works
When we scored our outrageous booty o' beer at the demise of Bello Vino, one of our scores was a 12 bottle variety pack from Motor City Brewing Works. We finally cracked it open tonight, and are working our way through. The pack has 2 each of 6 different brews: Motor City Pale Ale, Motown Bohemian Lager, Ghettoblaster, Motor City Nut Brown, 90W-40 IBU Double IPA, and 120W-60 IBU IPA (say that fast after drinking a few- I wonder if they use that as a sobriety test??).
Thus far, Michael has tried the 90W-40 IBU Double IPA (he gave it 2 thumbs up), the Ghettoblaster English style Mild Ale (2 thumbs way down) and is now working on the Motor City Nut Brown Ale ( ). I'm drinking the 120W-60 IBU IPA, and have to say it is damn tasty. I tried the 90W-40, and while I liked it, it was just a bit much for me. I like the 120W-60 better. The Ghettoblaster was, well, TOO mild for our tastes. It just kinda sat there.
More to follow!
