Pizza Beer - the verdict
You may recall a previous post about Pizza Beer, a beer brewed with tomato, basil, garlic and oregano. Well, last night we finally had an opportunity to try it. The first thing we noticed was the nose- let's just say it was strong. Four of us tried it, and unfortunately, I can't say that any of us really liked it. In all fairness, we tried it straight without any food accompaniment, and it would likely taste better with pizza or at least Italian food. Personally, I thought the oregano was just a wee bit overpowering. :-(
